Hi Hamda
ReplyDeleteThanks for working on this so soon after class and for sharing your notes. I think you have made a good start here but you may not be finished. You can check for yourself by answering this question. Do you think these will be useful to you a week from now, if you wanted to go back to these notes to recall the article?
We should also attempt to write the same notes using fewer words. You can use symbols to help make them simpler. I hope that helps. It might be worth checking out the work of your other classmates to see my comments on their note taking.
Hi Hamda
ReplyDeleteNotes are short and concise. However, Fatema it is not so clear what the main ideas of the article are so in some places I wonder how important at point and supporting point is. Could some of the ideas be grouped under two or three main categories? Perhaps they could be categorized according to the main idea of a paragraph. You may also need to make a careful review of your notes to ensure that you understand the reading and your notes.
Check out my blog for a few YouTube presentations on Note taking. http://col140mrjim.blogspot.com/2009/03/writing-notes-tips.html
I think you will find them interesting and worth review.
